This summer has been filled with fun and adventures, and we’ve been having a great time.
Aside from spending hours watching the Olympics and pretending we’re in top athletic shape (instead of what we really are – couch potatoes slurping an endless supply of popsicles), we’ve been deliciously busy.
We went to rodeos… and tried to go to the Demolition Derby, ending in torrential downpours and us running for the car with a thousand other people.
We went to the beach for the day.
I went on my first winery-related trip to the Philadelphia Gift Show to hunt down products for the Tasting Room… and had a little fun too.
And baked lots of delicious food with the excuse of the Opening Ceremonies.
And read this article about tackling Humongus, Unweildy Beats of Nagging Household Chores. And felt more inspired about attempting to put our unpacked house into some sort of order.
We’ll see if that actually happens.
In the meantime, I’m going to go watching swimming and pretend that I could jump in a pool and swim laps like a fish without drowning in the first three minutes.
